The SGC’s Community Assistance for Climate Equity Program (CACE) provides technical assistance and capacity building services to help under-resourced communities access critical funding resources, implement high-impact projects, and enact community-led initiatives.
Tribal Initiatives
The California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) is committed to working with Tribes across the State of California in a manner that respects Tribal knowledge, expertise, and sovereignty. The SGC has several initiatives that aim to improve outreach and engagement with Tribes, increase access to funding opportunities, and deliver resources and support directly to Tribal communities through Tribal-specific grant programs and technical assistance.
Agricultural Land Equity Task Force
The California Agricultural Land Equity Task Force (ALETF) was an independent body that worked to develop recommendations to equitably increase agricultural land access across California for food and fiber production and traditional Tribal agricultural uses.
